In the February issue of Playboy, on page 154, is a shot of Rob Whittal and Chasta cruising on their Frenzy Snowkites. Playboy dropped some props for the upcoming sport of Snowkiting and even tho it is a small picture, it will be going worldwide to 7 million subscribers.
Now, Snowkiters finally have a reason to pick up this mag, for reasons beyond the great articles I keep hearing about

I hate it when snow blows between the pages and they get stuck together. It makes it hard to read...
I'm hoping to see some good Ozone swag at the Snowkite Rodeo!
Chris.

We'll be at the Rodeo for sure, and we'll bring plenty of OZ Shwag as well. Word is the Euro boys are all coming over so the Rodeo should be going off, along with the road trip across Wyoming on the way back.

Should be fun!

I hate to see articles like that it just means the sport will be more mainstream. More people, more kites, less space for me to go out and act like an idiot.

I dunno... I'm still a relative beginner, but compared to the kitesurfing scene in the summer, I think snowkiting will remain a little more mellow and pure.
It seems to me that you need to make a real effort to go hang out in the cold wind and snow all day. Anybody can (and will) go drink beer at the lake when it's 90 degrees - hell yeah! It seems to make the atmosphere a little more edgy and competitive, where snowkiting has been generally laid back and all smiles because of the commitment involved.
Chris.

As much as I enjoy kiting, I'll take the bunny!

As always, Keith busts out the twisted sense of humor.
