Snowkite Trip to US

It was south wind today.It was very gusty so no video. I saw about 14m\h max in parking lot \ south part of lake\ and I think about 20 in lake because once I was lifted off by gust.
It was Ozone kites Day.

We moved evening to north part of lake and the wind here was much better.

I was afraid to use my Ozone 10m because to be overpowered.
Later , great thanks to Patrick&Amanda Welcome Snowkiters Ozone, I made a ride on Ozone Access 4m..

Ozone is the best solution for people who likes to ride through snowstorms.

And started to wait for the wind


And when there was no hope and Anton - Snowkite Dillon Lake event chief thought to start the raffle the light wind about 1m\h has came .
I could launch my Ozone FX 10m but it was not enough to go up wind. I made the curcle around buoyes 7 and 4 but couldn't go up the wind to finish line from buoy 5.
So got DNF. Twice.
The other racers whom had bigger kites were more lucky.
Today's wind was perfect for kites like Jakudza 8-10m.

Oh! Sorry, I guess I forgot to tell you who I was on here! My name is Nick, we were in the same hotel, I had my ranger spread out on the floor to fix a bridle tangle on the first night.

Was sorry to hear of your DNFs, but at least you tried! I certainly hope the rest of your trip has a bit more solid wind than we were able to offer you. Glad to hear that it was a solid sunday from other riders.
