Or maybe Idaho. This is a place called the Sinks of Gandy in the high country of W.Va. west of Spruce Knob. It is private property surrounded by national forest. It is a five mile journey off of Hwy. 28 where it crosses the continental divide. I got in here on monday with the landowner on his snow machine to do some backcountry skiing. His family has owned this property since the civil war. You know I took my kites. I had been there before and I know it is gonna be an epic spot. We had an incredible day skiing. I was able to put my 13 Frenzy up for a moment. Bummer, no wind. I gotta get back. Hopefully soon before it rains and ruins our once in 20 year conditions. Pics and story comin' soon, JR.

Looks like you've found a sick spot!

Say, didn't you come out to Skyline for the season opener in December when we had the Grand Opening at the Triangle Bar(aka Skyline Yacht Club)?
