Virgina Power Kites and Oslo Kiteboarding are sponsoring a snowkiting trip from Dec. 15-Jan. 2nd or Dec. 15-Dec. 20th on the Hardangervidda Plateau at Haugastol. Free instruction and unlimited kite rental of RRD, Cabrinha, Flexifoil, Ozone, HQ, and Epic kites will be available for $500 (Dec. 15-Jan.2nd) or $250 (Dec. 15-20th). Virginia Power Kites will have a demo Screamer Limited Edition and a 12 meter RRD Obsession MKIII 2011 as well as a 7 m RRD Obsession MKIII 2011 available w/a discount. We'll also have every size of the Neo 2 available, 6, 8, 11 (except the 14 meter). For light wind days, we'll have a 10 meter Crossfire II w/handles (this flies in about 1 mph winds with handles and pulls like a truck upwind!). This will be an incredible trip as you won't need the help of an interpreter, and you'll get valuable local knowledge as well as deals on the latest kites. Haugastol is hands down the best snowkiting destination in the world with more than 1000 square km of treeless hills and ridges to snowkite on. It is already below freezing in Haugastol, and you should be prepared for -20 F weather if you come in December. All you need to bring is your skis. We'll supply the harnesses, bars, and kites!
