I have the f.one bandit dos and i would want to use it on snow.
Is that a good or a bad idea? Tell me what you think.

the majority use their tube kites on snow as well.
Just don't crash it hard! But if a bit snow is on top, it is softer than water when crashing it with speed

Tube kites work great on snow Just watch out for crusty snow conditions, it's like sand paper on the LE, you don't want the kite sliding around too much in those conditions. Fresh snow, no issues.

Depending on snow depth you can likely use a slightly smaller tube kite on snow than you need on water.

Everything works. Start with what you have and go have fun. Most people use the gear they already own, and there are more and more kitesurfers converting to the epic terrain winter offers kiters. Folks that Snowkite full time and live in wintry areas end up with a dedicated Snowkite or two, for ease of use in alpine conditions.
