Plus it does not mean a thing, paragliders do it and they are not faulty! The new frenzy is really an amazing foil! But to claim there is no tip folding is kinda silly! All foils will do it! imho wayne
Thats why all the pimping is outta control cause they have too. There is no such thing as a snowkite and nothing will be done to get a foil anywhere close to where the inflatables are at. Anyone that has flown a foil for a long time and actually made the effort to try inflatables on snow will never look back. Except of course they wanna use em as a tow rope for free ride, quickie seshs during a lunch break, or just wanna tour around and stay on the ground.I don't want to seem like a ass but it's always the same thing with the foil kites, You always hear statements comparing them to good pump up kites.
But know one ever says the fly as good as the kites they compare them too. Just like them (this years frenzy feels alot like a c-kite" one poster said.
I love foils and their throw and go ability. But As soon as I am done pumping up I have a kite to fly so the point about quickness of set up is muted by the proformance of the pump up kite. Never folded a wing tip on one, had one collapse mid jump, or had one fill up with snow and fly like crap on a stormy day.
Heh Ravil I will be seeing you in UT and ID perhaps Patrick will find his way up here also.....I would go frenzy over the manta in this years kite. It is way more your style! And has some new features that are just pimp. Plus you can buy a kite from the guys on snow at the demo events that are out marketing their goods, while promoting snowkiting
