CdA Airport Kiter(s)

I was in Coeur d' Alene yesterday Christmas shopping with my wife.... After 4 hours I drove out by the airport to see if I could find the kiting spot. I was really pumped to find someone out kiting. I live in Harrison and am looking for a phone # of a person in the CdA area I can call to get a wind update. I was just on the airport website and I am wondering how reliable the info is.

Just don't want to drive an hour to get skunked...

Be aware that this spot is private land. I have personally gotten permission from the landowners to use it. Unless you have permission to kite there, it is no different than someone showing up on your land and using it without asking. All the potential liabilities are a legitimate concern for a landowner, and he's let us know it's not an open ended free for all.
It's really bad this year, probably partly my bad for being a kook and talking about it on the forums before I realised the ramifications... But people should still apply common respect.
