Im getting all kind of information about that road. Does anybody know is it possible to get trough in winter time? Some people say that road is open, some that is closed !? Im will be in Valloire next week and plan was to take a day trip to Col du Lauteret over Col du Galibier. Is that possible or not?
If not, does anybody know some snowkite spot near Valloire?
Thank you !

try the following spots in Mauriennes:
- Col de la Madeleine
- Aiguilles d'Arves
- Grand Truc
as for Valloire, try around the Grand Plateau - TK débutant on the Crey du quart
