The switchblade is good fun, but I have much more to learn about its speed characteristics. I just picked up the SB3 from Todd Hansen. It has an adjustable bracket that allows the blade to adjust out from the board edge. I had it out the other day and was digging in pretty hard. There are lots of variables to play with. Being able to ride a snowboard confidently on black ice is a hoot.

Skis are really the speed weapon. Snowboards are just more fun for free riding.
