West Yellowstone Sessions

Postby Noahpz » Thu Mar 17, 2011 5:27 am

Its been two days of puking from the heavens, strong jet stream winds and more to come tomorrow. The kiting around West is sick and today was another awesome display of big terrain and lit conditions.

Today I hit up Horse Butte from The Narrows. Easy park-n-ride and fast over to the Butte. Nice terrain and decent gliding hills. Best of all, the further upwind I went, the stronger the wind. Eventually it got so strong that I could not hold down the 13. So... downwind I went to where the snow was soft and the wind was perfect. Visibility sucked until near sunset then it was amazing light.

Tomorrow, St. Paddy's Day, I'll wear green.

See ya out there,

Noah
