Hi, I'm new to Frankfurt and am struggling to find a good location to fly. Via googlemaps all I can see are tree-filled fields, and even the kiteshop here couldn't help.
Does anyone know where's good to fly 3.5m powerkite in Frankfurt?

Nearly 100 views, but no responses? Maybe FFM isn't the city for kiting!! 
I found a place, which is apparently popular: top of the Grosser Feldberger hill, near Taunus, in case anyone else is looking too!!!

There is a small Forum, in a region called Odenwald, nice People, try this: http://www.snowkite-odenwald.de/
You can also try to ask here: http://www.drachenforum.net/ or here http://www.oase.com/
And check this place:

(without the space inbetween - there is some strange script, it allways changes this link into "kiteforum.de"... )
