im thinking about starting land boarding who knows wat i should get? i dont want something thats just for beginners because wen i get better i dont want to buy a better board so just something average. and can i use my water kite with it

HI. I"ve been landkiting for 5 years and kitesurfing 3 years.
Yes tou can use your existing kite and harness for landboarding.
Board- Trampa or MBS are indestructible (expensives but worth it)
Buy some protection - Helmet and knee protections. Land is much harder that water!!!

nah i've never needed wrist protection. usually your falling on your arse backwards holding onto the bar.

Yeah look at trampa, ground industries, mbs for boards.

use your inflatables. They will work fine. However the power spike of a C kite isn't the best on land you need more constant power. Also you want lots of lift on the land. None of these pop and drop kites. Use something with lots of float. The last thing you want is to fall out of the sky too fast because you stuffed up the redirect. Also its easier to dammage inflatables so foils can be more robust and better in sketchy places.

Start off a size or 2 down from what you would use in the water for the same wind to begin with. then when you get the hang of edging and powerslides you can step back up to the same power as kitesurfing.

Theres a difference with weight and endging on the landboard your more 50/50 weight distribution and your push the back foot around for slides as apposed to steering the from leg with a twin tip.
