Thanks!
Just got some mild days now :( so just hoping for some weather changes and colder weather and lots of snow!
Best season is Febr-May... (And even May-July on the Glacier...)

Nice, I heard that it will be the mother off all winters with huge dumps of snow guarenteed! Fact! I was in the Alps last winter but couldn't even travel to Lyon in December because the planes were cancelled because of the heavy snow and then it stopped snowing completely on around 5 January, very, very icy season.

Hi,

From your experience, how hard is it for a very experienced sea-kiteboarder and also experienced snowboarder to mix up things and have fun in snow without breaking the neck or coccyx in the first jump?
Is it very hard? What is the biggest obstacle?

Best winds,
Wawa

It´s no problem at all! Very easy if you know how to kite on water, and even more if you know the snow! The feel is a bit different, since the ground is a bit different to the water, but you will have no problem. Biggest challenge for a waterkiter is normally the terrain and of course the pop. The feel of edging on more solid ground with a snowboard is also a little different, but knowing how to kite you´ll fix it in no time.
Just don´t go for you sickest handlepass on pure ice for the first time and you´ll be ok ;) With a sent jump it´s pretty much the same, unless you are flying of a hill. But it´s much easier to pop and land softly if there is some power/ loose softer snow and not just rock hard ice...
And bring a helmet, the worst thing compared to water is the head smashes you´ll get when you miss a trick...
