Had a great late-season corn kite day yesterday in denver basin. A couple of inches of fresh over a nice frozen base, thin in spots. We just touched the tip of the iceberg. Lots more to explore.

George, Jeff, and I hit it again this past Sunday. Winds at 12,000 feet were too SW and blocked by ridges, so we drove on up to 12,600 ft elevation on the high ridge top. Winds funnels through a low spot perfectly. There was just enough snow left to do some sweet lines up and down a few couloirs. I made it up to a 13,200 summit where the view north into the Uncompagre Wilderness is unbelievable. Hopefully it lasts another week or to, then it's time to jump into the water-
