What do you dream of for a mid-winter snowkite vacation? Deep snow? Steady wind? Spectacular terrain? Remote adventure? Those are all the elements that are readily at hand when one visits the Big Horn Mountains.
Our first day of kiting there took us to the edge of Hunt Mountain into a breathtaking area. We had expected hard snow and light wind. We found just the opposite. Soft snow and fully lit 13m conditions blew us away. Sunshine, endless basins and bowls of powder and no one around for miles was a magnificent way to start our week.
Enjoy the photos and see ya out there,
Noah

Yeah, you got me dreamin' again. Your pics of this place in the Big Horns look incredible! I really need some of that. I turn the key on the Big Truck today and start west. I'm gonna be knockin' on your door! JR
