Banff Mountain Film Festival

Postby The Captain » Tue Feb 07, 2012 3:17 pm

Went to a viewing of the Banff Mountain Film Festival world tour last night. Always gets me stoked to get outside and do something nuts.

With over 300,000 viewers that take in the tour or festival proper every year, this festival is ready for a film on kiting in the mountains on snow. The stereotypical X-Greenland type adventure story is always popular, but they love spectacular action shorts too. Pimping and sponsorship is certainly supported! (get the companies to help)
I love to see films different from the biking/climbing/kayaking/skiing you seem to find every year, and so do they, seeking stuff outside the norm.

My only interest in this is my love to watch these types of movies and shorts. There was a fun, insane and inspiring flick on slack-lining this year. Something I do with my kids to kill time.

So, all you film makers, get out there and get a film in! Win a prize!

(that means you Woonder!)
