Chomping at the bit, I could not pace the house any more and just watch it snow. With a whopping five inches of fresh, Julian and I headed to Island Park and spent Saturday mowing the lawn. It was nice to be back out and get the winter rolling...
See ya out there,
Noah

Looks like some good lawn mowing! Keep us posted on the conditions if you go back. We're still hitting the water around Great Falls but it's getting cold! Can't wait for snow. If the drive seems worth it I'll come down and bring friends.

Damn Noah. I was hopin' to get a post up before any of you western riders. Just missed it! Great to see you are back at it. Me Too! We got hammered by Sandy this week. 2-3 feet of snow here in the hillbilly. At least I will be able to get some time on my skiis before I come out for the real stuff this year. Keep the reports and pics comin! I luv this stuff. JR

I've kinda lost track of this forum for a couple years but I thought I'd better answer to rvrrat's call...
The season in the Biggies are getting a late start this year but we've been up several times.
Day 1: I blew off work on the 23rd and ran solo for the 7" and got in a good 12m session between Baldy and Little Baldy. The clouds rolled in early so I went home.
Day 2: Mark and I joined forces for a great Thelma and Louise Day (identical 8m Mantas) on the 28th. The gullies were starting to fill in and we found plenty of soft drifts and pillows.
This is why I still live here!

Now that is what I'm talkin' about. You said it is a late start. You mean you usually get started earlier? I gotta get my self to NE Wyoming to kite sometime. I have trucked thru there alot but have not made it to Baldy. I hope to make a trip there this year. You guys get me fired up with the awesome posts from out there. Out there I mean all over the west! JR
