Im headed north on I-29 today in search of snow! Anyone know of good kiting spots north of Sioux Falls? I've been in Sioux City for 9 months and have yet to meet any local kiters. I've ridden Storm Lake IA a few times but really would like to find snow, ice that's not sketchy, and fellow kiters! Thanks
Otherwise, I'll probably head to Lake Poinsett...looks big and far enough north to have snow.

There is a few of us in Sioux Falls, some in Spirit Lake, IA and in Watertown, SD.

All the good lakes for snowkiting are North of Sioux Falls, Poinsett, Kampeska, Brandt and Oakwood to name a few.

Spirit Lake is great for water kiting and snowkiting

A few of us just went up to the Watertown area this weekend, some on the lake and others on the terrain at a hunting ground. Good wind, good snow, great time!
