Pymatuning Reservoir, PA

Postby SaulOhio » Mon Feb 25, 2013 2:02 am

I just had a pretty good day at Pymatuning Reservoir.

The ice was very solid. My ice screw never penetrated all the way through, so its at least 6 inches thick.

The wind was West, maybe a bit North of West, and very steady. Up and down a bit, but there were no big gusts to jerk me around unexpectedly, and no super lulls to make my kite Hindenburg on the ice.
