Snowshoe Pass, Montana

Postby Noahpz » Tue Jan 28, 2014 6:18 pm

With sleds, kites and a topo map we headed south up the West Fork of the Madison River 15 miles to check out a new area, Snowshoe Pass. We have kited all around this area for the past few years and thought that this spot would have potential. Sure enough, we found great terrain, spectacular views and for a little while, wind!

While it was not forecast to blow, we still managed to squeeze out a light wind session just east of the Pass, above Two Drink Springs. Next time I go when the forecast is for more wind. There is so much terrain here that just screams "Kite me!"

Here are a few photos and a map...

See ya out there, Noah

Nice Noah! One of the most exciting things about our little activity is all the untapped potential. So far in Utah it's been the standard sites. But don't worry too much, there are some plans in the works.

Matt
