New to land boarding

I have been buggying and kitesurfing for more than a decade. I go all the wayback to handles...My kite skills are very good.
So now I'm going to do some land boarding. I have no skateboarding experience to bring to the table but I am a vey good kiteboarder
Some tips would be greatly appreciated.

Should I use a larger kite that can be parked OR do I want to use a smaller kite that will need to be sined?

start one kite size smaller than on the water. Its all about drift on the land. Finding that nice drifting point to hold you up and keep stable.

Weighting is more 50/50 than 30/70 on the water. Plus you stear with the back foot rather than the front on the water.

When you can handle the jandle then its same size kite water/land.

Make sure you have a floaty kite and a good soft landing technique. Stuffed up jumps on land hurt!.

Other than that landboarding is like kitesurfing on butter flat water, its very similar.

I'll mostly be riding on grass which I know is more firm than sand. Most of our beaches have sand too deep for my wheels.

if you want to ride soft sand then you need the monster mobility scooter wheels!

also ride with your feet flat and don't dig your heals in.
