12m Pansh Ace won't fly !?

Postby smarczak » Mon Oct 06, 2014 7:29 am

Hi

I am rather new to kiting, power kiting in my case.

I have 4m Quadrifoil, 6m Mazzif, 9m Naish Helix and just purchased 12m Pansh Ace.

Ace is second hand one, almost new with almost new lines. For some reason I can't get it to fly.

I've managed to lift it but it's slow and heavy almost cant turn it.

It doesn't look like it's fully inflating. I ve tried the whole day Saturday in different winds and same result. I just can't figure it out.

Has someone have pleasure with this kite. Can you advise please.

Welcome in the prestigious world of Pansh kite owners!!! Seriously though, I've had issues with mine too but was able to use it with an ozone bar that has adjustable trimmings... I would agree that Pansh does not compare to well established kite companies but think that for the price it makes a very decent trainer or landboard kite... Hope this help.

P.S. Check your lines as I found that mine had approx 30cm/1 foot lenght difference after just the first use... Might be worth stretching them prior to your next use!!!

If you love the sport, go for it, you'll love flying a high quality foil like this one.
Don't waste your time on imitators.

Ditch the Pansh its a huge 4 line non depowerable kite, it will be slow as sin, and Pansh kites always need to be tuned out of the box. Plus their lines are shite.
The 13 yr old quad 4m is a good kite equal to a new 6m kite, and has a lot of lift. The Helix is a good kite too, between the 4m and 9m should get you through the winter, if anything go for a big inflatable 13m up for the light wind heavy deep POW days and you"ll have kite for the liquid H2O days.
