Hi,

i want to start snowkiting this season. I allready own a firebee 3.0 and now want to buy a bigger kite for small wind. Is the gap between C-Quad 6.3 and Firebee 3.0 too big? What is the difference in power between a firebee 3.0 and C-Quad 4.2?

I can get an used C-Quad 4.2 for 90 EUR, and a C-Quad 6.3 (with bar) for 195 EUR.

Thank you for all suggestions.

bye

Andre

I had both the 4.2 and 6.3 for quite a while. In the end I was only using the 6.3. I found the 4.2 was to fast for recreational use. The 6.3 when over powered was still more manageble than the 4.2. Also because the 4.2 was so fast it tended to luff more often (a function of skill/your willingness to experiment with tricks).
Either way for the price you can't go wrong.
Make sure you get extra spars, after a time they allways splinter.

Enjoy.
