i have ridden on Neither, and i am curious which would offer more control.

I used the dirt surfer for Kitesailing and dog propelled riding last summer and It's extremly stable the faster u go,
But really hard to go slow on,
And the turning radius are much to big for kite boarding,
And finaly I think it's impossible to step around on the board so u have to go toe side one way, But that's no problem in stable wind!

Haven't anyone tryed both the Grassboard and the Dirtsurfer?!
Or have Kiteboarded on the http://www.grassboard.com/ ?

I never tried either one of them.
But with only 2 wheels you need a lot of balance, don't you?

Balance Is no problem when riding, The wheel's gives the same kind of gyro stability as on a bike, A 2 wheeled board is easyer to ride then rideing a bike with out using your hands,
But scooting on flat ground Is really hard, Becaus It's to unstable to stand on the front foot on the board, So you must stand on the back and kick with the front foot,
I really would like to know how the Grassboard rides, HELP!!!

i would not use either of these boards for kiteboarding. use any of the 4 wheel designs, or the outback 3 wheeler. the reason is they are hard to control at low speeds, they don't turn very sharp, and i did think you can go switch either.just buy an earthboard for like $220. great board, and it is very liteweight.

The Dirtsurfer rides much more like a kite board on water then any 3 or 4 wheeled board bacause you can lean the board over like on water and stil ride straight!
And speed wobles are history, You can go as fast as you dare and it only get's more stable as the wonderful speeeed picks up ;o)

Have you tryed the Grassboard Rob?

why did you ask for people's opinions if you already knew all about them? no, i have never ridden them. as a pro mountain boarder i can tell you that in the mountainboard comunity nobody rides these boards. the companies don't even show up to any of the races. this is what i was basing my opinion on, plus just the basic idea that balancing on 2 wheels is one more thing that has to be considered while trying to fly the kite, and ride the board.
