Man, just too complicated.
This is my system for my Flexifoil Blade II and Naish bar.
I attached about a meter long lead lines of 5mm Spectra to the bar just 5cm inside from the main lines. To those leaders I attached the brake lines.
The brake lines are adjusted to use with handles (flexifoil pre-measured lines) so the hang there quite slack - which is good.
I've put a line between the brake lines and attached the safety leash there. It goes slack over the bar to my harness (over the harness line), attached with a qr.
Now, when I'm flying and need to do a quick turn, I just grab either of the brake line leader and pull - the kite will turn faster. If it lands on the leading edge, I can lift it up and turn with the brake lines.
It's almost as good as flying with the handles.

I use the Advance modulus bar and have tried to use a standard bar but I must say I miss the direct access of the brakes the modulus bar provides.
My standard bar was home made and works just like the one Eric S describes. One difference however is that the Y-line is connected just 2 meters from the bar.
What is the up side and down side of using bar instead of handles?
I am farily new to kiteskiing so I am very interested in your oppinion in this matter.

Have you tried different length on flying lines?
I use 21 m lines and have ordered an additional 10 m set to have the opportunity to use 31 m in total. How should I connect the line sets in the best way, suggestions are grately appreciated?
I have some ideas myself but it would be nice to avoid pitfalls.
