slingshotucf,
Where do you ride on land? I'm fairly close to UCF (Winter Springs/ Oveido area). Got a couple of fields around here but one of them is about to get developed. Maybe we could hook up for a session sometime?

sure thing, my e-mail is
nickucf@yahoo.com
i got a kite boarding club too at U.C.F. riding the earthboards inland is sort of frustrating, if you go to the beach when it blows strait onshore, then you'll have some really good riding. give me an e-mail and we'll meet up. later~Nick

this big?
heh, practice and over powered conditions.
Dunes angle the wind from horizontal to a few more degees towards vertical, giving you that extra lift.
But you've got to *want* to go high. The technique is simple, it's the balls to launch the kite while your mate holds you down.
