SouthBasin,

I have been flying on the 3 line rig quite extensively in the last month. I have found it to be very successful. I have felt very over powered and completely depowered which immedialty removed 99% of the pull and the kite sat down on it's tail edge, not it's leading edge. I can see what you are saying though because if you do not "guide" it down, there is a possibility that it will flip over, but the same is true with handles. I do feel that my Kitesurfer XXXL functions better on the 3-line rig than my blade, but it does work. Unfortunatley, I have found that the blade tends to curl and one side will get twisted in the bridle. This may result in a death spin but, generally, I'd say about 80% of the power is lufted out even in this situation. Just like any kite, a leash should be worn just incase.
