It still costs money to build one.
Why not buy a used one.

If you want a trickbuggy or a standard racebuggy buy one 2nd hand. On the other hand: If you want something special like suspension, bigfoot fork swanneck downtube it will cost you as much as an F-16 and you could consider building one yourself. Have a look at this:

Building a buggy?

Postby Guest » Sat Mar 15, 2003 9:40 pm

Hi, I'm new to this group!
I've got a mate that's pretty handy with welding equipment, and he's building himself and me a buggy each. We think it's only going to cost about £110 each. We had to get the seats from http://www.powerkiteshop.com for £36 and I'm not sure where the wheels are coming from. I'll let you know how we get on!!

I've just got hold of a 2.8M Mk3 Predator, and it pulls like a bast**d, so I'm looking forward to getting to buggy!
