CO2 16 or Torro 2 16 ??

Postby conor » Wed May 28, 2003 9:05 am

Whats the low end wind range on these babies ?

I'm 75 Kg and my biggest board is a 157 wavetray.

Also are they quick and light to turn ?

ta,

Conor

I assume you are talking about the 2003 CO2.

I haven't tested the Toro, but i have tested the CO2 and its damn quick on turns. This last weekend, i watched a beginner almost looping it a couple of times on falls.

Low down grunt is awesome and its very stable in the air. Jumping is better than the 2002 BT but the wind range isn't as large as the new BT.

I don't know what the wind is like where you are, but at the coast I can stay upwind with one of these in 8 knots, although I'm light at 70kg's.

That said, the Norths have always been know for good low end, so I would assume they would also be up there. Personally, I don't like the bar on the norths (especially the toro1) and i have heard some bad things about the sceptor bar. The powerlock is nicer.
