Slingshot 03 Line lengths

Postby Rossall » Sun Jun 15, 2003 12:54 pm

As a general rule of thumb should the SS 03's work on all lines the same length when fully powered up.

depwnds how you want to set that up fella, i prefer all lines equal at half power, but then i like to ride with the kite maxed out at the travel stop with no more available depower.

if you ride bar in, then equal at full power if you ride bar out then equal at half power.

Thanks SQ I will have a play around, fitted the new Airush pul pull system now with the MM new quick release swivel system and I think the bar setup is getting there, just playing with the line lengths now and tuning hence the question. Seem to of settled at full power at about 5" depowered that seems to feel right for general cruising and confortable on the arms. I was talking to Dom the other day and gave me a top tip to attach the front lines to BOTH hang off points on the leading edge, havn't tried that one yet though. Can't remember what forum I asked on but which bar are you running for your SS quiver. I picked the scepter due to the adjustability ( for light winds ) took all the crap off and it seems to work fine with the current setup, time will tell !!!!!!!

Off to Hatteras in 2 days so should get plenty in I hope
