Caracol Kiteboarding Center by Laurel Eastman to host 2003 PKRA Cabarete World Cup

The stunning new Caracol Kiteboarding Center is proud to welcome the world's top kiteboarding competitors, media, and industry professionals from 23-30 June for the 4th annual World Cup competition in Cabarete. Over 90 professional kiteboarders from all over the globe have gathered in mass to put on what surely will be the most spectacular show in competition this year.

It just doesn't get better than Cabarete for a kiteboarding event and the services at the new Caracol Kiteboarding Center will help to make the kiters and friends feel right at home. Construction of this kiteboarding-specific designed beach club marks a new era in kiteboarding, where attention to the smallest details are paid to ensure the guests have the kite holiday of a lifetime, and keep coming back every year!

The Caracol Kiteboarding Center features a fantastic dinning/viewing terrace overlooking the competition area, a restaurant and bar, swimming pool with swim-up bar, retail shops, massage/chiropractic/osteopathic healing center, streching area and kite school/test center.

World Cup competitor Laurel Eastman, the highest ranked American athlete in 2002, has partnered with her sponsor Hotel Caracol to provide a kiteboarding school and test center that is un-matched for customer service and satisfaction. Laurel Eastman Kiteboarding offers an extensive lesson plan menu with courses for just about everyone, and the high end gear from Wipika and Da Kine allows advanced riders to test out the very equipment the pro's are competiting on.

The Pro riders are here and training hard both in the Caracol front yard (AKA Kite Bay) and in Cabarete village at night! Laurel's teamates Marcelo Cunha from Brazil, Sebastian Cattelan from France, and Flash Austin from Hawaii are pushing hard to ensure top spots in next weeks event.
