WIthout a doubt... the Rhino II 20m! Very stable... turns like a 14 meter kite, and... produces tons of low end grunt. The verdict isn't in yet on the Titan 18.5. I'd wait a while on that kite.

First, get a kite that can fly and turn well in 5 knots.

Second, go big!

In 5 knots:

A 125 lbs person needs a 12.5 m2 foil (the flatter foils, not those that curve down) or 21 m2 inflatable
A 180 lbs person needs a 18 m2 foil or 30 m2 inflatable

Third, a bigger board!

Hung.

Is the Titan 18.5 the fastest turning "big kite" and the most powerful. I'm a huge fan of Ram air kites in light winds after using my C Quads which perform similair to foils in that they fly far better than LEI's in light wind. If there is a 18.5m foil to play with then why use an LEI kite? Oh yes don't forget the board size too...

My best setup for ultra light winds is my 8.5m C Quad, 30m or 40m lines and a converted surfboard (minimal 7ft6in). I have never used this combo apart from one occasion where the footstraps didn't work well. I got going in sod all wind, it's amazing the difference a big board is.

In saying that if the Titan is such a fast kite in both speed and turning then it's only a matter of time before we can wakeboard and boost in 5 knots.... I'm excited about that to be honest as it will make more places epic and will make it easy to boost in flat water... it'll redefine kitesurfing and make it into a lightwind sport again.
