Really freakin new guy here. Just bought a 15.5 Co2 and board from a guy and went to the beach armed with only three months on a trainer and every possible piece of reading material I could find. Things like in low wind you have to keep the kite moving, such things are why I and any other new guy or gal needs a lesson. Theres stuff that just isnt in the books! Now I do know how to sail and have been surfing one thing or another since I was 5 but with any new sport there are tricks of the trade that nobody talks about. When I went and talked to the local shop I told him of my tales of the kite perfectly flying up into the twelve o'clock and then procceeding up wind behind me with tremendous plop into the water. Basically my point is to say hello and say get a lesson if your new. It does speed up the learning curve.
