So what do you guys and girls think of it?
Any good?

Looks promising to me and eventually adaptable to all kites!?

I applaud any efforts at safety systems, but I doubt that many kiters will accept a 5th line.

Why not?

How many 2 lines riders ride now 4 lines?
The drag issue is BS.
It could be a little more work for rigging but kepping this line attached and packed with the kite could do life easier.
For those who use big kites this could make a difference.
At our local spot you have a 200 yards downwind buffer, then you get into problems. A big kite LE down pulls you downwind very fast and sometimes they are not so easy to roll on its back for relaunching. A kite that falls on its back 99% is a blessing. Surely you could feel much more confortable trying new tricks if relauching is easier.

Latest update is that it can be used on all tubekites!

Would love to try it out :!:

I think that this is an awesome idea! It actually came through my mind a couple of months ago but I never followed through with it. Glad to see it soon to be commercialised. If it works as well as what I saw in the Video than I will definitely buy the set up!
I am wondering if it works in heavy wind and wavy conditions... :D :?:

Looks really nice! From the first impressions, looks better than the Recon!
- Line tangling (another 30m line to mess around and at the L.E.)
- How do you adapt it to any kite?
Promising, but definitly some testing is required...

uhhhhh........5th line would most definitly be a hassle, seems as if this is a similar kooky thing as the old reverse launch, and we all know how popular that was...well at least i do, personly i am a fan of recon

Hello !

Actually, we speak a lot about this system in France, because the conceptor is a frenchman, the name is Kite Control System  !
The system can be on EVERY kite of EVERY year, but you will need to do little modification in a dressmaker who dress strap on your kite. Some company of kite are in negociation to put the strap originaly, I think Wipika will do on their 2004 kite.
In my opinion, 5th line isn' t really a problem, if you loose 1 minutes, it isn' t really bad for your session ...
The system don' t assist you in direction like "star system" or "reverse launch" : you have the same sensation but you can launch more easyly ...

But, wait and see ... because in 2004, every kite company will conceive their own system, and we will see the best ...

??????? RECON, UDS, KCS, ??????
