has anyone made a board in the 130cm/40cm with no rocker and very very stiff and light. i have a chance to make something like this with some carbon fiber that my company is going to throw away because of weaving flaws. i'm thinking of making the board with 2 pieces of 1/4 inch foam with carbon botom, center and top to make the stiffest thing possible. any insite would be helpfull.
thanks,

Ive got a 140x36 board w/ very little rocker (<1cm).
A friend builds his own and this one was a reject so he
gave it to me. It works really well - fast and works great
in light wind. A couple of problems - I had to use small
fins (1.3") or the front fin would catch chop. And usually
once a session Ill get lazy and catch the front edge - splat.
This board does have decent flex... I kite at 3rd Ave in San
Fran - lots of chop - this board work best on flatter days.

look at
http://www.boardbuilder.com you need rocker with a minimum of 2,5 cm. Less rocker will be catchy. I made one with 2 cm rocker 1,40 m and flip tips. Very fast and good upwind but not good for switching direction ( I had big fins 5,5 cm) and waveriding. I prefer my newer boards with more rocker ( because I ride in choppy conditions)
finish with glass if you want a durable board.
