November Honeymoon

Postby joe f » Wed Jan 07, 2004 11:38 am

Anyone got any good suggestions for a 10 day honeymoon at the beginning of November? I am based in the UK and don't really want to fly for much more than 12 hours if possible.

Key factors are chilled out, peaceful, small (no massive hotels) + quality kitesurfing!

Current target is Zanzibar, but I would be very interested to hear about any thoughts.

Thanks in advance,

Joe

how far is Auckland from London? 12hrs or is it more...

don't know about peace and quiet.. but the beaches will be pretty empty.

wind? last 2 Novembers here had many days over 25knots and every day had wind over 15 knots.

Hi Blown Away,

Unfortunately, I think it is more like 24hrs, which is a bit of a trek. I am definitely keen on a solid 3 month trip at some point, but I think it is too far for a 10 day / two week break.

Thanks for the recomendation though - much appreciated.

Joe
