im not wanting to spend heaps of money so of course the ones on ofer to me are second hand.

oh and i am not that great a kitesurfer, i am just after a smaller board to take on holiday at some point as my litewave 169 is MASSIVE and heavy.

don't know about the mystic, never seen it, but the slingshot sx141 bounces around A LOT in the chop, my friends who have them don't like them that much, althought the build and weight and accesories are top notch, very good quality.

I think my SX 141 is the "NUTS" ... :bye:

there are loads of boards out there to choose from so i know you gotta' be carefull ...

Ive had

Brunnotti 180
Jarvis 157 (4 its time this board was amazing)
NOW: SX141 ...

I agree with Andres_Santacruz .... but it really depends on what conditions you ride / How good you are / and most importantly how much money you wanna' spend.

I use my board as a ONE baord does all .. and its fantastic.
With my 16m (11.9 AMP) i @ (80kg) can get going in 10 knots and as long as the wing is on the + side of this (12 knots) go upwind easily ....

When the wind picks up it can get a bit hard to rail this baby over and hold a good edge (it will 4 sure give you agood "LEG" workout bit thats not a bad thing is it) ?!!!!!!

If you've got good edge control then you'll love this board it "ROCKS" mate .. :thumb:

Dont beleive the hype on all this board **it ...

the SX141 is a good un' .... :D

Be mindful of the helicoils where straps screw in. I think they are plastic
on the Slingshot boards as I have seen a few strip and/or pull out on the sx 132? last year!

now i just have to decide wether to keep my litewave 169 for light wind days,or sell it on?... any opinions?

there are no helicoils in the old baords where the straps screw, just a high density insert. the screws only pull through if you dont tigthen them after the first couple of rides.

the new baords have totally different insert material and facing on the top deck, i've not heard of one pulling through yet.
