WOW!
My only response to that is like the commercial
where 2 guys are talking:
1.- Ever try hang gliding?
2- Na, motion sickness
1 how bout surfing?
2 nope. you?
1- way to dangerous
all while hanging off a caribiner on a sleep station
about 1000 feet up a vert face
Its all about what you do for a rush
you got to admire the skill
but.......

Yeah, the brain's weird organ - I am quite happy paragliding
at 14,000 ft over hostile terrain and can coolly collapse my
canopy to avoid getting sucked into a big cumulus but I get
gripped with fear on a 200ft rockface and I still sometimes
freeze and blow my landing if I get higher than 30 ft on my
kite!

Hmmmmm. I've got a bunch of foils. I've got some extension lines. Stacked foils. Hmmmmmmm. Something to try on a light wind day. Might be more productive than flying an old paraglider on kite lines.

In 16 years of paragliding this is the first time I've seen
one flying completely upside down (and I don't mean
during a loop) ...

This is the "real life" answer to the question about: Can you fly your kite fully 360 degree and upside down from a bridge.
Of course you can

That is pure nutso Steve. The Ozone vid had me just slack jawed. We were watching it on the plane to Au and some of the people sitting arouind us problably didn't need to see a bunch of guys, seemingly out of control, plumeting towards the earth while our 747 experienced slight turbulence. Great DVD. Could not freaking believe what those guys were doing so close to the dirt. Full on slope surfing, dragging their hand and then the acrobatics. If you collapse your canopy to not get sucked into a nasty cloud, do you determine when it reopens or is it a set, within so many second reopening thing? Heard of guys getting frozen whilst getting sucked through a big, high altitude cloud head like that. I'll pass on the inverted ice cream headache on blowing out the top of that cloud. At least we don't need knees to do it....... I will launch with my wheel chair....So why do people golf???

Just to put it all into perspective, Ozone make good products but they are even better at promoting them. The Ozone promo DVD is one of my all-time favourites.
The Rodriguez brothers from Argentina invented all those moves in the Ozone video and are the best at doing them. They win all the acrobatic competitions and keep coming up with new tricks all the tim. They are not sponsored by Ozone.
That inverted canopy move looks pretty original and that comes from the Renegades who are sponsored by Ozone.
How's this for a trick. Two guys do big jumps on their kites. They link up in mid air then do opposite direction kite loops before unlinking and landing. Anybody care to try that?
