Lower range kites...Upper range kites...

Postby Wetstuff » Mon Aug 30, 2004 7:32 pm

I've read brief bits about Euro and American kites - how perhaps the Euro-design kite dealt with gusty conditions better...

Since, I prefer using my kites at their lower ranges: are there specific, branded kites that work better at the top than bottm?

I was considering an Outrage 17, but gather it is a 'upper end' kite, whereas a Vegas 18 may be a 'lower end'.

Any confirmations? ....I got an itch.

Jesper: I've given the Outrage a close examination and it is a work of sewing art, on the uppershelf of craftsmanship along with Flexifoil. One of our guys here has one and loves it. I gather, without talking for him, that it is a higher range kite than his similar Cabby 17.
