www.windsofcabarete.com funny statistics?

Postby hawaiikiter » Sat Feb 05, 2005 4:50 pm

http://www.windsofcabarete.com/windsOfC ... e=20050201

is it only god conditions with sideonshore from the right?

because it has been 3 days with wind, ok gusty and turbulent(bay effect), strong currents etc.

but people have been kiteing for the last 3 days...

well if it is like that and they havent just forgotten to update the statistics then i guess those statistics are actually very reliable and when they do write down its good its superb?

yeah bit like hookipa that way
eg: i was at hookipa (w/s) with 25 k ENE, but waves NW, only 1 foot for a few days.
OK time for me, but no locals out, no doubt they would have said it was lame.....

typical wind direction in Cabarete is from the right (East) and the windsofcabarete sensor is on Bozo Beach. When wind comes from the left, the sensor doesn't register. You can see that they are kiting on Kite Beach. Bozo doesn't get wind typically from this direction....

For the Kite Beach sensor and more webcam views, go to http://www.extremehotels.com.
