I got this from a friend. I have no idea how this might effect liquid force kite operations, but some of you might find this interesting. R!
Earth and Ocean Sports Shuts Down
Parent company of O'Brien and Liquid Force runs out of money.
Author: David Williams
Two of the largest wakeboarding companies in the industry have had their
doors closed by their parent company over the past two days. Earth and
Ocean Sports, Inc. (EOS) claims to have run into a financial brick wall,
which has necessitated the closing of Liquid Force and O'Brien, two of
the world's leading sellers of wakeboards and watersports accessories.

Their kite website just got updated........ Liquid Force is a pretty big name in wakeboarding and I doubt that they will be down for long. The same thing happened to Hyperlite wakeboards last year and they rebounded stronger than ever. Jimmy Redmond and Tony Finn are working on getting a sale of the company going, and knowing Tony Finn and Jimmy those guys will pull it off.
Either way I'll still be flying my LF Tension kites this year.
As of a few days ago all EOS employees were laid off!!! (Including Tony Finn) Not sure what is the future holding for Liquid Force.
