Hi Dwight,

I know, you´ve been answering a lot on my questions yet, but unfortunately I haven´t yet come to a decision .. ;-(

I promise this one to be the very last on big North kites !! ;-))

As far as I understand your comments R2 20 has some other characteristics as its smaller brother R2 18 which also trade into
some better range. Could you get a bit more specific in direct comparison?
What´s the range of T2 18 and R2 20 in direct comparison for an intermediate 75kg rider ? Pros and Cons in husty conditions ?

Thanks a lot !!!!!!!!!!!

Jürgen

The 18 R2 is higher aspect and quicker turning than the 20m R2. The 20 "might" be an easier kite for the intermediate rider. If you are looking to ride in something like 7-14 knots, then the 20 would be fun for you. For me (86 kg) the kite is good for 7-18 knots.

I don't know the wind range of the T2 18. I only had one ride on the producton kite.

If you're looking to ride in something like 10-18 knots, the 16 T2 would be good. I've ridden that kite a lot. I know it's range. For me its range is 11-22 knots.

Dwight, what board do you use in the low-end conditions?

Thank you.
