Hi,
I'm gonna buy 2 g-arc's, but don't know what size it will be. I'm 65 kg, surfing with a 1.50m twintip. I want to surf in 3-4 to 6 bft. What sizes are the right ones? I thought a 15 and an 10?

I'm 75kgs and I've got a G10. I need major windspeed to enjoy the kite - 25kts plus. I too was looking at getting the 15 as my second kite but it turns out that there is only 2-3 kts realistic overlap. The arc gurus reckon that 3 kites are needed to cover the range you mention. I'm going to get the 13 instead and stack the 10/13 for the light stuff.

V? Are you saying that a 10 & a 15 work? If the wind was in the 13 sweet range (16-22kts ? gusting up to 40% more) then it wouldn't be much fun on either the 10 or 15. Would it?
I've not heard of a G user that's happy with 2 kites, and the ones that only have two seem to choose adjacent sizes.

He didn't really say it was gusty, or anything. So I'm going with the pure kite-sizes to answer his question. But yeah, if its gusty, or 90% of his winds fit the G13s range, then he should go for a G13 and G10, maybe. Or just a G13.
There's a lot of range on the kite, as Mel indicates. The Guerillas have lots of range and some are finding their quiver is now one kite. Depends on your winds. For me, I can kiteboard in 8kts one day, then 30kts the next, so I need a full range.

Was out the other day on a G13 (85kg) while my mate lee was out on the G18 (90kg) and another guy was out on a G15(75kg) all of us were going up wind though I was less powered then I like to be so there is a whole heap of range in these kites I think it was about 15knots.

This "gap" in the wind range between the G15 and G10 that I've been reading about lately worries me a little (is it real??) . I was hoping to replace my current 2-kite quiver, the 1120 and 630 S-Arcs with the G15 and G10.
I am 65kg and along with my 2 S-Arc quiver, I have a 2 board quiver, a 5'8 directional and a 140 wake. I also have a 30m and a 20m line set. There have been only a few days in 2 years that I wished I had something in the middle (the 840).
Would using these board and line combo's with the G15 /G10 significantly reduce this "gap" or increase the overlap in the windrange?

What do you think of buying two kites, one G15 and another S840?
Is there too much gap between them?
I have never flown any of them so are they too much differnt to use?

i fly g18 and s840 and find tham quite strange to change between
840 is very on/off power
and the 18 is much much different to jump
and they have no overlap at all
18 is 10 to 20 knots
840 is 20 to ummm i dunno 35 (115kg u see!!!)
