I'm puzzled…

Postby Guest » Wed Apr 09, 2003 6:29 am

Is the F-One Mach 1 size 12.1 is difficult to fly or is it my skills? I've tuned the kite several times but still, I couldn't get a real enjoyable surf with this kite. It seems to me the kite does not generate enough power as other kites in its class.
I would appreciate a good advice or opinion.

Thanks :-?

In comparison with today Hi performance kite is MACH1 an intermediate kite so no kite for expert only. But Mach 1 is kite that generated his power from his speed. It is not grunty raw puller. So i think you must gain some board speed to build aparent wind in his low end. Just IMO

the Mach1 doesn't have a good low end, but therefore a wide range with a high top end, according to my experience.
Maybe the 18 is different.

thanks for the replies.
Toby, I tend to agree with you on the low end of this kite. On winds over 18 knots there is no luck of power while on winds around 15-17 knots sometimes even going upwind is not an enjoyable task.
