A Kitesurfer is born!

Postby Rv » Mon Apr 14, 2003 4:46 pm

My wife recently gave birth to my first kid, a baby boy named Elliot. He's only light at 5lb11oz, so I expect he'll be going upwind in less than 6 knots no problems :D

Congratulations!
I'm sure it won't be long before he's by your side ripping it up!

Congratulations Rv and Wife! Great news! Not named after Elliot Leboe?
Hope the change to family life doesn't effect your kiting life too much. :thumb:

Congratulations! My kid, @ 2 years old only wants to go kitesurfing, read kite mags, etc. You should see him when he sees a kite bar... He already does beach kiting! (note to security freaks: no kite attached, just the donkey here pulling him, ok?)

Be prepared to reduce your kite-time to at least 50%. It is 500% worth it, though!

Thanks all. No Jo, not much getting much kip

And yeah, Mr Leboe did cross my mind while we were choosing names... 8) I liked the name Lou too, but the lady wasn't keen on that one!
