Slingshot Zeppelin 2003 for sale anywhere???

Postby Sake » Fri Apr 25, 2003 12:02 pm

I'm waiting quite some time now for my SS Zeppelin 2003.
I allready got the SX141 only with old pads.

Does anybody know if it's for sale anywhere. If it takes still quit a while, I'll probably get a different board.

So if anybody knows what's the status, LET ME KNOW PLEASE!

I'm going for a 2003 board. Either the Zeppelin 2003 or a different brand. If it takes another 4 weeks, I'll go for a different board.
Despite hating to do that, because I rode the 2002 with faster fins and I love it for being my high wind board.

The main reason to go for a 2003 board is that I can trade in my last "old" windsurf-stuff.

After riding in real strong AND gusty wind the day before yesterday with a Hydro5, I defenitely don't need my windsurfstuff anymore.

Zeppelin is a GREAT board. But as always if it does what you want it to do.

It has quite some rocker so for light winds not really advisable. Faster fins make a big difference though.

More for medium to high wind and waves or chop. Excellent for loading up in nasty waters and riding waves.

The rocker is about 5.5cm, and it's certainly not a light wind board. I'm 65kg and I need a lot of power to keep it going. Otherwise, it's a great board with very sharp edges.
