מעוניין לבנות טווין טיפ קטן 150 אבל סגרו את המפעל שייצר את הלביד הזה לפני כמה שנים טובות. יש מצב שלמישהו יש חתיכהיודע איפה להשיגמכיר עצים אחרים שמתאימים ואיפה ניתן להשיג אותם?

אין צורך בלביד ימי מספיק רגיל ב-50 ש"ח
כבר בניתי שניים אחד רפליקה של
LTWAVE 169
WAVE TRAY 157
עובד מצויין קצת יותר כבד 1 ק"ג בערך
תדאג לאטום את הקנטים באפוקסי טוב טוב תצבע בשתיים שלש שכבות של לכה
וזהו .
אפילו לא צריך סנפירים אלא אם אתה קופץ הרבה

עוד שאלה מאיפה השגת את האפוקסי? -אני לא מוצא חבילות גדולות (רק שפורפרות וזה בכלל דבק)
איך ה Wave tray אמור להיות אחלה גלשן לא?
שמע אם בא לך לחסוך מעצמך את השאלות 058481148 או שתשאיר לי מספר, ממש יעזור לי להתחיל כבר לבנות, כל השבוע הקרוב אני לא הולך לגלוש כי אין לי על מה

ישנם כמה סוגים בעיקרון עץ בירץ נחשב מצוין אך יותר יקר אני לקחתי עץ סנדוויץ
10 מ"מ בגוון כהה 5 שכבות 150/.40 בערך 50 ש"ח
גם אני לא מצאתי אפוקסי , אך אמרו לי שבתל אביב אפשר להשיג זה נקרא שרפי אפוקסי או משהו כזה
אני מצאתי בהום-סנטר חומר לתיקון סירות פיברגלס שתי שפורפרות ואותו מרחתי
על הקנט .
בקיצור לך למחסן עצים דבר איתם ואני בטוח שתמצא כבר משהו

אפוקסי נמצא בנמל-ת"א כשנכנסים לנמל מאחד הסימטאות הראשונות ימינה החנות קטנה וקשה לאיתור נמצאת בתחילת הסימטאה בצד ימין תשאל בכניסה כולם יפנו אותך ,מקומות נוספים ניתן למצא ע"י דפי-זהב "תן לאצבעות ללכת במקומך"תנסה מילים כמו אפוקסי,פיברגלס ,בעבר מצאתי ליד כפר סבא באחד הישובים יבואן גדול ודיי זול ,לצערי לא שמרתי את הכתובת.
בכל מקרה הפיתרון של עץ רגיל נשמע לי כבד מאוד

and it is a lot of fun building them...
My first was 2 sheets of 8mm ply (sandwich - in Hebrew) I got the cheapest kind; but broke it first day out. Tehn fixed it with Polyester and some fibreglass, and it is still alive, although much too heavy.
Second board I coppied the Bat board Twin Tip - some US company. I used 2 layers of 4mm ply, with fibreglass and polyester in the middle, then 2 layers of fibreglass and polyester on the top and bottom. Also turned about a bit heavy, but I used it for a long time, before moving to Loose boards.
Anyway, all the above people already told you where to get the wood. Any wood factory, or carpenter. There are many thicknesses, and usually you stick two layers together to make the rocker, but I have heard of people using one piece and bending it by soaking it in water and then letting it dry out... There is lots of info on the net - even in the main forum, you will find guys that build all sorts of things.... I got the wood in Netanya.
I used Polyester instead of Epoxy. They say it is less durable, but for home made boards, unless you are getting really good, Epoxy is a lot more expensive than Polyester. I bought Polyester in 2 liter cans in Tambur. You get the Hardener (MAKSHE) and a catalyst (something that makes it go quicker)... I did see it also in Home Center qnd ACE, but not in the 2 liter cans, and without the catalyst (for faster reaction and setting).
I did have a number somewhere for Epoxy, but I have no idea where I put it, as I never bought any, but I did call, and remember that it was almost 3 times as much as the polyester. If you want the number, go to Musa, in Herzliya - he builds Surf Boards, I think he gave me the number. It is in Kvar Saba somewhere, where they sell the Epoxy...

Now the only thing I need to find is an original board so I could clone it... does anyone surfs a:
f-one revolver 142
slingshot drake
those new wavetrays, are they any good?
can someone reccomand me other boards? I've read goood reviews about that f-one, and I surfed the jarvis for a short run and had lots of fun. I weight 60 klg so I'm going for the short ones (less then 150) although I haven't tryed them I'm sure it would be MUCH better for me.
anyone?
Edit: slingshot say a 50-70kg rider should use a 137 board. what do you think?

יש לי אקס-שוטר 144 אורך 37 רוחב ,במידה ואתה רוצה גלשן אול- ראונד ,כלומר מתחיל לעבוד ברוח קלה וניתן למשוך אותו דיי הרבה ,הדגם דיי מוצלח,לטעמי מוצלח בהרבה מהדגמים שהזכרתה ,במידה ואתה רוצה להעתיק אני כעת בחופשת -פציעה ארוכה והגלשן לא אצלי אלה עובר מייד ליד אצל חברים ואוכל לתת לך אותו לאיזה יומיים באמצע שבוע ,בכל מקרה אתה יכול ללכת גם על האנדרגראונד והאף-וואן החדש לשניהם שייפ טוב וקל בהרבה להעתקה(שייפ פשוט).אז בהצלחה.
