where are you from?

I guess Egypt is not too bad, beautiful and should have enough wind with great spots.

From Belgium
so Safaga then, but don't you need a boat to go to the spots? I read about it in a magasine.
You ever been there??

If you stay in hotel shams safaga (club mistral), it is not necessary to go by boat.

Cabarete is great in the summer.
Very stable winds blowing the whole day. And the fact that the wind starts blowing at 9 am and stays until 8 pm when it gets dark gives you the opportunity to kite in hours when almost nobody is on the water.
The wind is lighter in the morning (around 15 knots) and gets stronger in the afternoon (20 to 30 knots). You have also a lot of different spots, from total flat water to big waves.
It is very easy to reach, there are plenty of charter airlines flying in from europe (Martinair flies everyday from amsterdam, Sobelair flies from bruxelles). These flights are very inexpensive.
Accomodation and food are also inexpensive in Dominican Republic.
Kite Beach Hotel offers rooms from 25 $ single or 32 $ double occupancy a night including breakfast buffet, taxes , Kitestorage and internet use.
Its located in the center of Kite Beach, you have one of the best kite spots right infront of your room, showers and cleaning facilities right on the beach. For a dinner with drinks included you pay between 3 and 8 US $.

We will be in Safaga in June and in Cabarete in August. Safaga is not so far away and cheaper. Cabarete is nicer (Caribbean).
