123KG
2.7M height

23M Nutshall 6 liner
17M Slingshot 4 liner
14M Shallteck 2 linter

I've used the same board for the last 4 years. 7 foot 10 inch Bic surboard. It rocks. Way better than all the other lame ass cheap schills for the other boards.

Kites:
Psycho 12.5
will buy a Titan 6.5 or 9.5 (haven't decided which yet) for stronger winds.

Board:
Custom (well, home made...) TT 158x37 with fliptips
will make a smaller one too, maybe 142x35.

Like to cruise around in flat water, haven't started jumping much yet.

Kite bag...

Postby Kite:Life » Thu May 15, 2003 11:14 am

Lengh: 176 cm.
Weight: 55 kg.

Early 2002,

Kite's: Wippi AB 8,4 , 11.8 , Hydro 7.
Board: SS Drake 147.

Was quite happy with this kit, worked well with a few damages and the usual learnig misstakes... x-ept for the Hydro 7 (i f-ing hate that kite :-( been out in 15 m/s + and still culd not get decent or even amount of power out of it...

Late 2002,
Became a team rider for SS Sweden, got on the 02 fuel ( 8, 10, 14) same board.

Everything became som much easyer with a lower AR kite (much better kite controll while jumping, and all my attension could be focused on the trick at hand... much better quality in material and sewing and so on... nog jellyfishing, a much more forgiving and stable kite in pure quallity :-)

Also got my hands on a KPS boom, this is the shit! i wont use anything else now days (3 kite's one 50 cm bom and thats all u need), it's just the feeing of being able to do almost all the tricks and still always wear a leash and being safe :bye: as a bonus i got this little bag to protect and help me ceep track off where i put the little bastard...

2003,

Still SS, now fuel 9, 13, 17 (yes i like riding overpowerd :-) These kite's are great! specially the 17 i just love this size  the lift and the hangtime is amazing! still it's controlable would compare it to a 14 m2 kite from 02 in speed and handling but more accurate and lots more depower/power. for the moment i'm on the SX 141 but im looking for a small light fast mutant style (will probably be a custom :-), the Sx is great nice and floaty for low winds but still the famous SS grip in the rails... lot's of pop and quite light...

On top of this i use a drysuit like the pyro for the coold seson (8 months/year) and a 3mm shorty and a rashguard + board shorts for the warm days...

And offcourse no kit is complet wihtout a god transport :-) mine is a baby blue VW van called "mitzi" but thats another story...

/Pan

I think that''s all the gear for now... enjoy...

I still have my Wipika airbast 8.4, great kite but starts very late, but i can keep it till 6/7 bft. It has a huge high end and still easy to handle with lots of wind. I bought a Cabrinha Black Tip 17 2003 this year, great kite also. Starts very early (7-8 knots, 80 kg, 180 x 138 board for very low wind days) And i can handle it till 20 knots. Loads of lift and hang time, and very fast for a 17. I still have my brunotti mirror 180 wich i use < 10 knots. And after that i get my Mahajo custom TT 135 x 33. Great board with very sharp edge on the heel side, and a rounder (little more volume) edge on the toe side. Assymetrical board and looks great, and very light (2kg). I''m thinking of buying a airblast 6.3 (2003) or aero II 8 for the high wind days. I use all my kites with a wipika throtle bar 60 cm.
