70kg, 176cm

2002:
Started learning on a Takoon Curver 164, flying a Takoon Skoop 11,6

2003: Takoon kites
17m Skoop2 with the 55cm bar
11,5 Skoop2 with the 47cm bar
9,5 Wook with the 47cm bar, (slow stearing-option)

Board: Wipika Apocalypse 140 with Brunotti footstraps and Takoon fins.

Dakine Hawaii Thermoform waist-harness.

I ended up with this gear by accident, and got used to it - so I`m gonna stick with it, (until I try something I like better..)

Ok I'll chip in for anyone looking for used gear.

2000
Naish AR3.5 9.0M kite--Good learner, good wave kite when converted to 4 lines--Shitty construction (typical for 2000).
F-One 215 directional--Still fun on lightwind days

2001
RRD Type IV 11.9M--Loved this kite; it was the only one I needed or used until it dry-rotted from too much sun exposure
RRD Type IV 8.9M--Still use this as a wave kite (Shitty jumper)
RRD 4'10" directional--Classic board; I am still using this board today with some fin and strap modifications.

2002
RRD Supertypes 12M, 14M, 16M--Unbelievable pop and height in jumps; they require a lot of attention and are unforgiving of input errors, but if flown right, they are unmatched in performance and speed. Each of these three kites has well over 200 hours of use (600 total) and I easily expect them to last until 2004.

2003
Haven't seen anything that seems to justify the expense of a whole new quiver. If I had to choose it would be BlackTip, X3, or LiftPro.
Looking for a new board...Airush Fusion 144cm. is the highest contender.

2004
This will be an expensive year.

2001: Used 6ft Underground directional board, 4.2m and 6.3m Peter Lynn C Quad, kites have great low end and turn fast but not good for tricks etc. Also had 7.5m Naish AR5 for windier days when too much for 4.2 CQ.

2002: Two boards I used were the 6ft Underground Directional and Underground Lunchtray. Main kite was 11.5m Naish ARX, in right conditions this kite was really good, good hard pulling kite. Also had my 7.5 AR5 for over 20 knots. Got 20m AERO and 12m X2 and used them from Sep onwards.

2003: Still using my Directional and Lunchtray. Lunchtray still my main big move board. Also use AKLBOB's plyboards as well. Kites are still the 20m AERO and the 12m X2 but also got an 8m AERO II for the windy days.

75 kgs and kite year round in winds ranging from 8-35 knots, with a mix of smooth winds, gusty winds and from billiard table water to surf.

For 2003 I have ridden North Rhino2's, Aero2 and Fuels. My favourite kite is the 12m Rhino2, followed by the 16m Aero2.

16m Aero2 gets me going in about 12 knots, and I can hold the Rhino2 in 25 knots comfortably. Above that it gets a bit interesting. The jumping of the Rhino2 when powered up (about 20knots) really sets this kite above the rest I have ridden.

Weight 90kg's.
